Poinsettia time!

    My son sent me this photo of the plant in its natural environment.

    They now seem to be selling Princettias with pink bracts but with the one I was given I don't think it will last till Christmas.

    I got a pink one a few weeks ago from B&Q, reduced, much cheaper than a bunch of flowers so I don't much mind if it doesn't last much longer. The red one will be moved into it's spot for Christmas anyway. I like the pink but it's somehow not very Christmassy.

    The only advice I have on these plants is ,don’t buy it from a supermarket ,they keep them too warm and they don’t last .I always buy from our local garden centre/ nursery and they last well past Easter .
