I am trying to grow moss from pieces I have found that the birds flick about (from rooves probably). I have put the pieces on some soil and keep it watered, I hope it develops! I read something about moss being depleted from the earth (like peat), but not sure which type of moss this is.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
It also shows how you can propagate moss by putting it in a blender with some fermented milk and then spreading the mix where you want the moss to grow.
I will do @Slow-worm when it warms up a bit outside but I don't want the blackbirds eating the grass seed.
Blackbirds won’t eat grass seeds, they eat grubs and worms. I think you’ll need to treat the grass with nematodes, the only way to get rid of chafer grubs.
