What do you think this is? It came in a pot with something from a nursery. People keep telling me it's Verbena bonariensis which it doesn't look like to me

    It looks verbenaoid. I'm sure you've sniffed it so that would rule out lemon verbena

    The young leaves look suspiciously furry. Will inspect my trailers to see if anything looks similar. Agree it's definitely not VB. I suspect I might have the national collection😐

    Is there a buddleja with serrated leaves? I know there are furry ones.  I thought verbena but one of those they put in hanging baskets, not Bonariensis.
