Should penstemon grown in pots be moved into the greenhouse during the winter

    I had P.Raven in a big pot for about 5 years by my fish pond.
    It stayed there all year round and I got a great display every year.
    It got too big for a pot so is now in the garden.

    Some varieties are hardier than others.
    Generally the broader the leaves the less hardy they are.
    Raven is quite broad leaved and has been fine in a pot all year.
    Most of mine stay green throughout the winter these days.
