Ooh, @Woodgreen - are there videos or pix on here of readers' gardens by any chance? And how do I find them if so?
There are many photos and occasionally short clips put on by members but usually they are in the plant-orientated threads, difficult to find once the threads have disappeared down the pages. The rose thread always has lots of photos, often showing general garden views. Other members may be able to help locate old threads but one good website to look at is that of the NGS ( National Gardens Scheme.) During lockdown they had the most inspiring videos of gardens that would have been open to the public but for Covid. I haven't looked for a while but hopefully these are still available to view. It's good to be able to see summer gardens when everything looks so dreary just now.
Thanks so much, @Woodgreen - my favourite part of the magazine is when they feature readers' gardens in the competition, so was looking for more of the same!
I'm sure you'll enjoy the NGS ones @susiebower. I just had a quick peek on the website and it seems they are still there to watch. Choose 'Virtual Gardens' from the menu.
Some are grand stately gardens, others are a nice mix of large to small, but I find that even in large gardens we can spot an idea or planting that we could adapt to our own garden.
