The area is in a very rural part of NW Ireland, so facilities are likely to be limited re collections, but I will investigate. Also, as it is rural, it unlikely that the ground will be even enough to run a mower over.
I have (kindly) allowed myself a few months to clear the area, but that is factoring in the facts that I am not based there (but regularly visit) and that it rains a lot along the Atlantic coast, so will be relying on dry spells during my visits to get the work done. I'll try and rope in my sister to help (many hands...).
In the mean time, I'll try and source free/cheap skip bags to store what I pull up (to prevent it re-rooting) until I work out a solution for it being taken away.
I'll also keep a regular eye on the areas already worked to prevent anything taking hold too strongly again.
