When to cut back and dry dahlia tubers - given global warming and all.

Okay, the light levels are still what we would expect for the time of year, but isn't it time to cut back and preserve dahlia tubers now?

    I would have thought that the leaves are still feeding the tubers. If they're not in the way, I d leave them until the leaves look tired or there's a frost.

    Cutting off any flower buds now that seem to have stalled will also help to divert energy and food to the tubers.
