Alliums - can I plant now?

I'd forgotten I'd ordered some Allium Sphaerae-ohforgetitnochance Drumsticks :) .  Can these be planted now or is it too wet/cold?  :)

Plant them now. The soil is still warm.

Thanks FB.  Just seen your cryptic location and would hazard a guess initials of "LE" or thereabouts :) but obvs, don't confirm or deny if you want to maintain privacy!

NG10 covers quite a wide area.  I'm between  Junction 25 M1 and 100 yards from the Erewash.

They'll be fine @Rob Lockwood, assuming you aren't planting them in a site that's soggy anyway. They do quite well compared to some others alliums in that regard, but a decent amount of drainage is still needed.
They multiply very easily though, so it wouldn't be a disaster if you lost a few. I'm always pulling some out that have got a bit full of themselves   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
