Allium Purple Sensation

Having bought several packs of Allium Purple Sensation from different suppliers this year, I see that some are described simply as 'Allium Purple Sensation', others as 'Allium Aflatunense Purple Sensation' and yet others as 'Allium Hollandicum Purple Sensation.
I'm confused. Are these all the same plant?

Just another day at the plant...

The RHS says they're all synonyms, so they should all be the same (unless someone has incorrectly labelled them). Some sellers might be offering smaller bulbs (most likely the cheaper ones).

That is what I thought until this morning when I read an article discussing various Allium varieties and their varying cultivation requirements to promote repeat flowering in subsequent years.
It stated that 'hollandicum Purple Sensation' can be left in place, which is presumably why it is so popular, but that Aflatunense types should be lifted after flowering, stored and replanted in autumn.
That would therefore seem, at best, contradictory if it is then referring to the same variety?

Confusing! Google also came up with this one https://www.ashridgetrees.co.uk/allium-bulbs-aflatunense Allium hollandicum "Aflatuense"! I think probably most of the named varieties are hybrids but of what, I've no idea.
