@bapw163. I was going to post earlier but got held up and I think everything has been said now by the other posters. You would have thought you had a geranium as the shops always sell them as such and I, like you, thought the same of mine till I learned otherwise. The main one I have is pretty big and more like a small shrub and has been in the ground a few years now and hasn't needed any protection in the winter and our winters aren't what you would call mild. I'm sure if you follow all the advice given yours will be fine.
