Ranunculus & Muscari re-sprouting

HenryPHenryP Posts: 52
Hi all,

In our garden, our ranunculus and muscari have started to re-sprout. We were wondering if this is a problem and if so, what to do about it? Any help, as always, would be much appreciated!

Thank you.

Muscari start growing at this time of year @HenryP so that's not a problem. The foliage appears long before the flowers. They'll be fine   :)
Ranunculus don't overwinter here, so I can't offer advice on those as such, but many plants are growing due to mild weather, so they may be affected a bit when winter arrives, depending on your local climate there  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

@fairygirl thank you very much for this!
  • Yes lots of us are seeing odd things still in flower or reflowering at the wrong time. There was an item on the evening news,  talking about this.  I have previously posted pictures of an Apple with fruit and clusters of flowers at the same time.
