Will soggy VB seedheads ever be any use to birds?

If / when they dry out, will the seeds be of any use?

Bitrds won't mind them wet. seeds only need to be dry if you're storing them.

I leave them over winter and often see blue tits and the like pecking away at them in the depths of winter.
