Thanks everyone this is brill and will put them under cover. Both have been fabulous this year. Will post next year if a success - I live in Doncaster so hopefully not too cold in my little cold frame as I don’t have a greenhouse thanks and what a great community Louise
Mmm think I might pot mine up and put it in the cold but insulated greenhouse then. I bought mine about May time so it hasn't had a winter here yet. Thanks for the heads up folks.
Louise, if you can get hold of some fleece that may help to give extra protection in your coldframe in really cold spells. lf you don't know anyone who can spare some, it might be worth putting out a request on Freecycle or Nextdoor etc. Horticultural fleece usually comes in rolls, so people can usually spare a bit
Brachyscome. I love this wee plant. It dies with the first frost. I just buy a new one each year. They often sell them as plugs very cheaply for hanging baskets. 80p
@Silver surfer Yes absolutely right. Felicia has a very bright blue flower. Brachyscome is more of a lilac blue although colour is always open to interpretation. Thank you
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
