Greenhouse was -1.5°C last night. The compost around my seedlings (inside the unheated propagator) had frozen solid. The seedlings seem to be ok but I've brought them into an unheated part of the house tonight.
I can't envisage anything thriving for any length of time in a frozen greenhouse! Is it really worth the effort?
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
I was planning to empty, wash down and line mine today. However, after a particularly invigorating walk on the beach with my dog, we both crashed out when we came home. It was too late and dark when we woke up so maybe tomorrow.
