Grubs on kohlrabi roots

Hi can anyone help me identify these grubs. I’ve just finished lifting my Kohlrabi and the roots are covered with hundreds of tiny grubs. They are not maggots so not cabbage root fly, they have six legs and antennae. Only 1mm long (very very small). See pic taken with eye glass magnifier

  • Springtails, probably.  Mostly harmless unless present in great numbers.

Thanks Bob. I had never heard of them. But you’re definitely right. So glad I can relax now!
