Pruning Lavender

I haven’t cut back my new lavender plants yet as the bees have still been enjoying them but planning to do so this weekend.  I’ve never done it before and would appreciate some advice.  The stalks are really long so I’m not sure how much I should cut back - just the flowers and a bit further, all the stalks or into the foliage as well?

    I would just cut the stalks off and no more at this time of year  :)
