Rosa Munstead Wood

As Monty told us last night, now is the time to take Rose cuttings. I'm hoping some kind person will let me have some cuttings of Rose Munstead Wood. David Austen has now discontinued this rose, which is sad for me, as I have had this rose in my last 3 gardens and wanted to buy another for my current garden.

Sorry I don't have it either, but the 300 they did sell this year sold out in 20 minutes. There were people buying 9, 5 etc. I reckon once DA start dispatching bareroots, some if these will appear on ebay at inflated prices. Worth keeping am eye out.

And no, I am not one  of them! I was after it and LEH but was too busy that morning to grab them.

Also... I asked Trevor White and they said they may well sell it when it goes out of patent in 2027. They can start budding then and it would go on sale in the early 2030s.

But for now, Cranswick Garden Centre in Driffield, East Yorkshire, have four potted Munstead Woods in stock for 32.99 each. They don't ship but maybe you live nearby
