The references to toad poo that I've seen online seem to refer to exotic or pet reptiles. I just found the above article but no mention of what droppings look like. Most scat recognition articles or charts just mention mammals. The item above does say that large toads can eat grass snakes, slow worms, even mice. I see toads in my outbuildings and garden regularly, though I have no pond. There is a pond a good way uphill from me so I assume they breed there. I have seen droppings that have puzzled me and now assume they were from a toad. Also smaller ones that don't look like they're from a mouse, so maybe frogs? Strange that there is so little info. We like to think of all those slugs going in at one end, but don't seem to know what comes out at the other end.
