Plant ID please...

Hello experts, here I am again with a plant I do not know the name of. Could I ask for your help please?

Also, would it be too late in the year to plant a 'pot' peony into the soil, expecting it will be as hot next year as it was this summer.

Thank you.

The leaf looks like a cotoneaster lacteus, but I think the berries are usually rounder.
I have one but it's young and not produced any berries yet

Thank you Pete.8, I had a look at the cotoneaster lackeys, but I think 'my' leaves are more elongated and the fruits not at many...

:)  I hope someone can ID it for you.

I'd think planting your peony out now is fine.
Do remember to keep the crown slightly proud of the soil so that it flowers well.
