Finding iris bulbs for sale

Who sells Iris latifolia?Parkers list them but say they are not available.

    They seem to be less often available than other iris, I don't know why, as they are lovely and easy to grow. I inherited mine from my ma-in-law. Peter Nyssen sometimes have them, but  I think not this year, maybe because of the heat and dry weather. Mine were not as good as usual, only the ones in a shadier position did well. I may have lost a tray of seedlings because I could not water enough. There are usually a few new ones popping up in the border though and I am hoping for better times next year.

    The RHS says they have one listed supplier, but their listings are often years out of date. It might be worth calling.

    The one listed supplier Green Island Gardens do mention it on their web site.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Farmer Gracy has a large selection of Iris although not latifolia. There is free shipping which ends tonight and a £5 discount note appears on the screen. I can recommend them for their bulbs as I have recently bought tulip bulbs from them and also in the past.  :)

    They are available from j parkers.  Just looked on their website.
