How do I care for newly planted oriental poppies and what to do with begonias?

I took some root cuttings yesterday. What should I do to care for them? Also I want to keep my begonia roots for next year. The first frosts will be upon us soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If the Begonias are tuberous they can be dug up and the tubers dried off somewhere cool but frost free, until next year. If they are not tuberous, you will have to keep them alive indoors, if you want them to survive.
