Choisya Ternata problems

I have a couple of choisya ternata and they have curled and distorted young leaf growth with small holes in them
It started to appear about a month ago
Does anyone have any advice please

    Personally I would live with it. More bugs for the birds over winter. At least it isn't vine weevil.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • I seem to have this problem with a lot of plants in my garden this year. Even those that don't usually have any problems. I think it's saw fly larvae so probably not much I can do.
  • I've had that happen several times over the past few years Inc with choisyas. I'd just leave it and the new growth with soon cover up any distorted leaves. It seems to come and go randomly in my experience.

    Possibly capsid. (Related to aphids).
