Clematis Montana Needs Help?
Hi all,
I have a young Clematis Montana in my garden. It has two stems, and the left one has gone brown (not completely dry) and wilted. This happened suddenly about three weeks ago.

Do you think this is clematis wilt? I am learning and I understand it isn’t common for this type. Or damage / other?
Either way, any pointers as to what to do next would be very welcome!

I would cut the dead stem off right to the base. The rest of it looks very healthy, so l wouldn't be too concerned.
