Rudbeckia advice

I purchased three Rudbeckia plants (see photo) and am unsure whether to plant out in the garden now or repot and plant in the spring.
Advice required please?

If they were mine I'd plant them out now. They are hardy perennials so would be better in the ground.

Yes so would I they will continue put down roots now. They like some moisture so plant in spring and you will be continuously watering.

I also agree.  They've still got time to establish now before they die back. Like @GardenerSuze says it will make them more resistant to a dry spring. I find them surprisingly quick to wilt for prairie plants.

@borgadr I love to see them growing with grasses but my soil is just too dry for them. I agree always find it puzzling that they are used for prairie planting.
