Identify these 2 plants

Hi. Got 2 new ones.

First one is twisting round other stuff . . . (I know it is not bindweed - that one with the big white bell flowers).  No flowers on this one. Just wondering if it is beneficial in any way or something I need to get rid of.

2nd one is a photo of the same plant/bush (as in it is "red" and green). Looks really nice actually as it is providing a bit of extra colour to a place where everything else is flowerless green.
