Blue mouse ear issue!!

Hi all, I planted this blue mouse ear about 6 months ago, in good organic soil in complete shade but it hasn't put on any new growth and the leaves are as you can see below, I can't see any pests and it hasn't dried out at all. All the other hostas I planted at the same time have thrived. Really could do with some advice on what this might be and how to make it better.

I reckon slugs/snails are eating the new leaves just as your plant is producing them.
Slug pellets these days are quite safe to use as they're non-toxic to everything except some species of slugs/snails.
