Plant id

Please excuse my ignorance but can someone ID this please

    The catkins and cones look like alder but the leaves don't look look like our native one. Is it evergreen @petehaskell? The native one isn't.

    It would be interesting to know which species it is, are you in the UK? 
    Just been checking, see copied from Woodland Trust.

    'Worldwide, there are 30 species in the genus Alnus. They are distributed throughout the North Temperate Zone and in North, Central and South America. A. glutinosa is the only species in the genus native to the UK.'
