Shrub seedlings

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
There's a couple of shrub seedlings - probably a couple of years old. They're not in the way at the moment but I'll want to move them sooner or later - probably into pots initially until they get bigger
Is now a good time to do it or should I wait till spring or give them another year.
In London. Keen but lazy.

The sooner the better before they really develop deep tap roots.

Now's a good time for evergreens.  When dormant, would be better for deciduous.  When you are in the mood, best time of all.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

  • I've just potted up Mallow, Hibiscus and Cestrum - all deciduous - they're fine here so I'd say if you feel inclined, do it :)
