Creeping wood Sorrel

Is anyone else being plagued by the above? I don’t remember it being a problem in the past but in the last couple of years it has been rampant!

@John236 Twenty years ago I had never seen this growing in gardens. It has a fibrous root so tiny pieces can stay in the ground. With a moist soil and a large fork you can get under the root. I think I would remove as much as you can this Autumn and be ready to start again early spring, often weeds have set a second generation in the spring without gardener's realising it. Thought until recently it was a Potentilla it is infact an Oxalis.
One thing I would not do is treat it with chemicals, glyphosate can be used but more and people would like to see it banned in the UK.

We've just had a thread about wood sorrel a few days back.  Go search for it.  Under problems I think.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

I'd rather get rid of wood sorrel than roundup
    Devon.
  • @John236 Just type in 'How do I get rid of Wood Sorrel' at the top you should find it.
