@Silver surfer, thanks for those suggestions, Sheffield Park is a great find 👍, my Dad was born in a village a few miles away and my brother went to Sheffield uni.
Just reading some of the older posts on this thread, made me smile . While Sheffield has many parks, Sheffield Park isn't one of them - that's a stately home down in Sussex I think. I hope you didn't go astray trying to visit.

@JennyJ, there's a couple of local landmarks that could cause confusion, Leeds Castle is another, it's just outside Maidstone 😂
