Mushroom identification
in Plants
Hello - following the heavy rain we’ve experienced over the last few weeks we’ve had some large mushrooms growing in our lawn. I’ve had small puffballs and ink caps many times before but I’ve never seen this particular species - does anyone have any idea what it is, and whether I need to do anything to control it? The largest of the fruiting bodies are about 20cm in diameter and 15cm tall, so much larger than I’m used to, and there are probably 15 of them. I put down some lawn feed fortnight ago - could that be a factor?
