Selling a used greenhouse - advice

Hi All

I hope everyone is well.  I have a long shot question,  does anyone know the best place to sell a used greenhouse.  We have this one, which we no longer want.

Any advice is welcome.

It's lovely! Most people seem to advertise online. Yours is made a bit more complicated by the very pretty walls. A buyer usually dismantles and removes the greenhouse and reassembles it in his own garden. I'm  not sure if it would be possible to do that with the brickwork.

    I agree - it's a beautiful greenhouse.
eBay probably has the widest audience.
I'd imagine Spring is the best time to advertise, 2nd best time is probably now.
Hope you find a buyer 🤞

PS - I think eBay still has Free-listing days, so maybe worth a try on one of those days.

  • Facebook marketplace.
  • Another option would be nextdoor.com.  Sign up to the site in your local area.  You might find someone local interested, as not much travel.

I agree- how would brickwork work?  I assume they'd need to re- brick the entire base at their own home.

Do you have a local freebie advertiser such as FridayAd?

New brickwork would be a small price to pay for such a beautiful greenhouse. Hope you find a good home for it.

  • Maybe contact your local allotment association or horticultural society?

Usually around here it is "free to good home", with the new owner dismantling it themselves!

It is a tiresome job dismantling one, and not breaking or losing some parts or glass!
