Clematis ID

Could you help identify this clematis 🤔

    It's a platycodon (Balloon Flower) not a clematis

    Looks like Platycodon [balloon flower] to me, or a Campanula - it's not a Clematis  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    I have a few patches of them in the garden.
    If you like it, plant it in your garden and leave the flower to drop seed. You'll soon have a little patch of them, mostly blue but pink and white ones appear too sometimes.
    They come up every year.
    Just beware of the milky white sap - it can cause a skin reaction if not washed off pronto!
