  I use Wilkinson Sword single hand grass shears — light and easy to use. Mine has lasted 4 years so far, nothing wrong with it

  There is an ultra light version, but I recently tried holding it and it didn’t feel ‘right’, probably I just wasn’t used to the lightness

  which I bought for about that price from the GC probably 5 or 6 years ago.  Really handy because you can rotate the blades by 90 degrees to cut on the flat or on an edge, so great for light hedge clipping too.
