  A friend is looking for a Wild Privet plant for her Wildlife garden .  She says it attracts the Privet Moth.

  
  

  I have a Privet plant but not sure if it is the Wild or Common variety!?
  

  
  

  Hence my request.  Maybe I should hire a Privet Investigator!

  Wild privet is Ligustrum vulgare....the only native one in UK.
  It is only semi evergreen.
  The leaves are smaller narrower..
  Young twigs pale brown densely but minutely hairy.
