Pelargonium identification please

Can anyone identify these two pelargoniums?
Very striped petals, I would say vermillion rather than scarlet.
Second one is very small-leaved and has small flowers, and a trailing habit.

Any help appreciated!

I don't have the faintest idea , but somebody posted a link to fibrex nurseries on this forum the other day - they are/were pelargonium specialists , so you may find some clues if you search their website? ( i have no connection to the enterprise).

  • I have already had a look there, but nothing seemed to match up.

@NutcrackerSouthSomerset The second one is a Regal possibly Lord Bute.
From the leaves the first could be a trailing zonal because of the upper curl and marks on the leaf.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • Not convinced it’s Lord Bute, flowers are really tiny, hardly as big as a thumb nail,  and the leaves are also minute….
  • The second one is possibly an Angel pelargonium called Jer’rey. There are lots of pelargonium hybrids and a lot of the commercial varieties are unnamed. Here is how Jer’rey looks like.

  • The top one might be precision red ice, but there are lots of similar cultivars. I have 3 types of similarly coloured pelargoniums and I don’t think I could distinguish between them without looking at the label.
  • That’s really helpful, thanks all. My mini magenta one certainly looks very like Jer’rey.
