Black dots on succulent leaves

I sprayed the plant with rubbing alcohol about 4 or 5 days ago as a precautionary measure as another plant has mealy bugs. Could it be burning from the alcohol? Image is below:

If the spots appeared after spraying, then the alcohol spray is the likely cause.
Alcohol is toxic to all plants.
It also evaporates very quickly so will offer no protection and could kill the plant.

Most succulents are pretty resilient to alcohol spray but I've had it totally defoliate some so I don't recommend using it unless you know the plant will be ok. Even soap sprays can be bad for some plants. I'd expect much wider damage if the alcohol was the cause though. In this case I don't think mealies were the cause either as they tend to hide around the leaf bases and stem. Maybe mites or environmental damage but hard to tell. Where is the plant kept?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
