Wildflower Wall Carving

Hello, my name is Clint and I'm a wood carver from Suffolk. I carved this as a passion project a couple of years ago and thought maybe a few people in the forum might like to have a look at it.


It took around 80 hours to carve and features British wildflowers, trees and some insects. Carved in lime wood and bordered with hazel.

    This is the only one, I still have it as selling it is difficult for the amount of work it took. But I may do another in the future, thank you!

    It's lovely. If I'd carved it, I would keep it and be proud of it.

    Could you loan it to a local museum or something like the Wildlife trust for display? I'm sure many people would be happy to commission a carving of just one chosen wildflower, could be a useful market for you.

    That's stunning @clinton.rose , I'd buy it if I were rich! I particularly like the winged seeds, top right.

    Not a bad idea, I had considered renting it out to somewhere or perhaps inquiring if any offices would like it on their walls.
