Plant ID - Small creeping Geranium

McRazzMcRazz Posts: 440
Hi all,

I'm currently refurbing a bed in my front garden that has become a bit of a contradiction of itself.

Theres a lovely little creeping / apline'esque geranium that lives here that I've decided to save, divide and replant once I'm finished.

I was wondering if anybody had any idea what type it could be? It's definitely a cranesbill of sorts, however that's where my knowledge of these plants ends!

Any eagle eyed assistance would be great.

Thanks! Razz.

    Geranium sanguineum I should think

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • I think they are too. Could be soft pink, purple or white flowers good in a well drained sunny spot so well worth keeping.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Cheers @GardenerSuze & @nutcut - pratense is just about the limit of my knowledge when it comes to cranesbills, so it's good to officially double my repertoire!
