Pruning a Photina Red Robin

Hi, this photina is about 15 years old and has never been pruned. How hard can it be pruned back? Wondering if I could cut it back to within a few feet of ground? Thanks, Claire.

    I would have thought so based on own recent experience. A few in my garden had been left to grow into big trees by the previous owner and this late Spring, I got them all pruned/pollarded by quite a lot and they've been happier and healthier for it a few months on.
