Identify plant please

Hi - can someone help me identify this plant please?  I think it is some sort of daisy but I am not sure.  Thank you for any help you can give me.

    Do you have any photos of it with the flowers still alive?  

    Or at least a description of what they were like?

    Is it a Shasta daisy?
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Wondering if it’s one of the rudbeckias,  black eyed Susan maybe?

    Hi - thanks for your comments.  I don't have photos of when the flowers were alive but they were white and yellow.
