Mushrooms within my cactus

Can anyone please let me know what these mushrooms are growing with my cactus. All the cacti are growing well so the soil isn’t too wet but mushrooms like moist soil.  Do I need to use gloves to get rid of them? Thank you.

I've no idea what they are, but don't they look fantastic!
There are many fungi that also thrive in dry conditions as well as damp.
I doubt thy're toxic to touch, but better safe than sorry, so best to don the Marigolds!

  • I wouldn't worry about removing them, they will probably just shrivel up and dissappear in a few days on their own. It's very common for fungi to spring up in compost.
