    Evening all,
It's been quite a nice day here, good for gardening. I've decided to get rid of my Shady/Damp bed, which isn't any more, in the orchard and grass it over again. My plants that like damp conditions have really struggled over the last few years. However in the sunniest corner, which I've just dug over, I am going to plant a short rambler, Ghislaine de Feligonde, and train it along a wall/trellis top.
Glad Dove has got to her destination safely.
I quite like Samsung @Busy-Lizzie so as my washing machine may not last much longer, might choose one of those. Hope your Covid jab doesn't cause any problems.
Our new shower has been duly installed and looks very swish. The job didn't take very long at all.
We're astounded, our car insurance company have written to us apologising for making a mistake in the premium and have refunded the difference - goodness me!

post office wrote to me saying I'm double insured. Refund to follow.
I had it on auto renew, but had forgotten, and took it out with them again.
If I'd insured with someone else, I'd never have known.

That's good news @Hostafan1, every bit counts at the moment! Have you enjoyed your sunshine today?

I over did it a bit yesterday ( breezy and didn't appreciate the heat of it ) so I've been very sensible today and kept out of it.

👋🏻 from the Cyclades.  Lots of sunshine, fascinating sights and great food 😋

Hope all is well, and that @D0rdogne_Damsel overcomes her travel hurdles and gets to experience the Greek hospitality very soon too 🤞🏻

Or I guess all. Cool and wet here. Even Pixel doesn’t want to stay outside. She usually takes every opportunity to be outside.

  • Morning all,

Hectic last couple of days preparing to be away for 10 days, so stressful, but worth it.
One more delivery to check in this morning, one more cake to decorate, and then I am off.  B)  B)B)

Hope you are now on the mend @punkdoc and others who have been poorly, not nice.

Enjoy your hols too @Dovefromabove and happy homecoming to @Hostafan1 and @chicky.

Charlie went back to school on Monday and of course I am off today, so I won't see him until Sunday pm the week after and then he'll be back at school on the Monday. He said not to worry about him and please can I send him lots of pictures of Greek monuments, I do hope they have some not too far from the pool.  :open_mouth:;)

Right, must get on, hopefully I'll have plenty of time over the next 10 days to peruse the site regularly and leisurely. :) Good day to all.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. No doctor will ever tell you that you are fully out of danger of course, but the c is in remission, phew. Must blood test in two months' time but I am relieved and grateful for what I got. Now to wait for my P Nyssen anemones to arrive. 🌈

Warm hugs again from chilly Lux.
