Repotting in September

I am a new plant "parent" first foray in April,
I now have approximately 20 tropical plants,
One in particular is causing me concern, it was bought a small plant, I followed all the sensible sounding advice and I have been rewarded with a MONSTER,
Will I harm it by repotting now or should I wait until spring?

Good morning @renestandley72BqFd3b and welcome to the forum 😊

With most houseplants, I repot when it’s needed. Many houseplants are tropical and don’t really do ‘seasonal’ growth … so if they need a bigger pot I give them one.

The thing to remember is to keep an eye on watering as temperatures drop … I find most dislike their roots being too damp when it’s a bit cooler.

Do you know what your ‘monster’ is?  We could probably help a bit more if we saw a picture 😊

"Official" advice will be to repot in spring but I did several of my houseplants last week (Several different ficus, a diffenbachia and some tradescantia). Yours will be fine done now, just don't go too much bigger in one go and as Dove says, watch the watering as we get in to the (hopefully!) cooler months.
