Weed/moss killer before overseeing??

Bought Aftercuts All in One today to kill off-the moss in my garden before scarifying in two weeks time when the moss has died. I’ve pulled up most weeds myself.

Plan was to aerate and reseed my lawn the day after scarifying but I’ve read that I’ve got to wait 6 weeks after using the moss killer? Is this really necessary? I’m worrying I’ve left it too late as I know the ideal time to overseed is September.

I’ve bought Lawn Feed to apply after overseeding.

Thank you

It probably has a pre-emergent ingredient that prevents seed from germinating. Most such things do … in order to prevent weed seeds growing.

In most years early September is ideal for sowing grass … this year is breaking rules … I wouldn’t be sowing grass seed until we’ve had a lot more rain … so in 6 weeks it may be just perfect 🤞
