Canna question

Hi everyone.

Just received Canna rhizomes from a neighbour who has devised them. What is the best way to store them for next year?

@Hostafan1 has a lot of canna experience. Hopefully he’ll see this …

I'd plant them. There's still a couple of months growing season left.
Feed and water them copiously and let them bulk up and re hydrate

Will give that a go as have an area next to Peruvian Lillies which needs filling and gets lots of direct sunlight.

maybe put them in a pot, and plunge it, then you can lift the whole thing when it's cold at the end of the year to keep it somewhere sheltered over the winter

I would pot them up, feed and water prodigiously, that way the tubers will bulk up and are more likely to survive Winter.
