Garrya - for the wood burner?

Hello
Looking for any ideas on this one please. I’m currently taking out a few Garrya James Roof, these were planted in terrible positions by previous owners and I’m replacing with a new beech hedge in the winter (ordered yesterday for delivery in November). I can’t find anything online about the ‘wood’ from the Garrya and if this could be seasoned and stored for future use in a wood burning stove. Does anyone know? I’m always careful  with what I burn, there are sizeable branches and trunk on the Garrya so wondering if they can be of use. Many thanks in advance.

We bung anything in, it must have had some Garrya in the past.

Same with us but never had garrya; why would it be a problem?
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
  • If it's dry, burns and gives off heat then lob it in.

It might be a bit spitty (is there such a word)? perhaps with resin, but I'm sure if it's mixed with other wood it would be fine. We tend to mix different woods in ours.
