Rose with blackspot

Have 2 roses with blackspot, I have been removing the affected leaves as I see them and if there were a lot of leaves affected I just cut off the whole branch.
I have been careful to collect them all in a bag and picked up fallen leaves too
Does this also apply to the flower petals?
I dead head frequently but there are always petals on the ground. Should I be removing all of these as well?
