Cornus. Leaf scorch or anthracnose?

Hello.
Could anyone please help me decide if my cornus has anthracnose or just leaf scorch? If it's the former I think I will need to dig it out.

    @fizzjane I would start by checking the affected stems to see if they are alive, if not cut them to the ground and water well with a can at the roots. Clean secateurs before and after. Then see how it progresses they love alot of water.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
