I have 2 red Guaras which refuse to flower, they look healthy. One is in the ground and the other in a pot. My white one is flowering like crazy. Any ideas anyone?
I also have 2 Gaura Gaudi red which I bought in flower last year. 1 is in the ground and the other was in a pot, but I planted it out a few weeks ago. The one I've just planted out has a couple of flowers, but the other though growing very well is still a mass of buds. I have about 10 Gaura The Bride and they have been flowering profusely since June, and still are. I noticed today that the same supermarket I bought mine from have them for sale - all smothered in flowers... It's a mystery!

I don't know whether the red ones generally flower late, but now you mention it l've noticed that mine are only just starting to flower. The white ones that l grew from seed have been flowering for ages.
My shorter pink Gaura Gaudi have has several flushes this year, and are now budding up for another. The taller white Gaura Whirling Butterflies has been an absolute triumph… has flowered non-stop all summer, and is still going strong!
